2. How We Use and Store Your Information
We use your information strictly to facilitate your restaurant visits, communicate regarding waitlist status, and provide the Lineless service to our restaurant partners.
Queue history data is stored on our secure servers to allow restaurants to view past analytics. Staff emails and activity logs may be stored alongside queue history. We do NOT sell your data to any third parties for marketing purposes.
3. Data Retention and Export
- 30-Day Deletion Rule: Personal identifiers tied to simple queue entries (like full phone numbers for unverified guests) not explicitly tied to registered permanent accounts are subject to automatic scrubbing or deletion after 30 days.
- CSV Exports: Restaurant owners may download an aggregated CSV export of their queue history for internal business analytics. These exports are meant to be handled in accordance with local data protection laws.
4. International Users and Compliance
Lineless operates software meant for restaurant businesses worldwide. By using our platform, you consent to data processing in the locations where our servers are hosted. We follow standard data protection transparency principles allowing individuals to request the deletion or retrieval of their information.
5. Data Security
We implement commercial-grade security measures to protect both customer and staff data. However, no internet-based system is 100% impenetrable. We enforce role-based access controls for restaurant staff so they only see the data needed to perform their operational duties.
